The massive community support behind The St. Augustine Surf Culture Archive resulted in the St. Augustine Historical Society receiving immense numbers of photographs and artifacts related to the history of surfing in the Oldest City. In fact, so much material was acquired that it was impossible to display it all on this site! In working around this issue, we utilized one of our other online archival platforms, ContentDM, to showcase the images not on this site nor in the museum. ContentDM also hosts our Surf Culture Oral History Collection, as well as several other collections held by the St. Augustine Historical Society. Click the link below to explore more of our holdings.
